"The No. 98 Johns Manville / Menards guys worked really hard in the pits all afternoon and made some great calls," said Menard following the race. "We started off too loose, and then over adjusted at one point, but with a few chassis adjustments we were able to bring it back and a pretty solid car once we got back on the lead lap. Larry (Carter) made a great call there and it worked out in our favor. <b>We will take the next couple of months to look back on this season, see ...

As we all know, I'm pretty hard on Yates and the way the organization has fallen off, but then again, some of it has to be on the driver's they have had the last few years.

Three past drivers were in the field today, they weren't in Yates equipment, and they still didn't do anything.

David Gilliland, in Gibbs great equipment had the best finish of the three, but was still a below average 29th. Two of his teammates in Gibbs equipment finished in the top 8.

AJ Allmendinger a 10th place finish. He ran in the top 10-18 all day long and then came in with the strong finish. He was up in 8th earlier.

Kasey Kahne was a little off today. He never really seemed to challenge and finished 17th.

Paul Menard with another sub par finish coming in No. 26th, but he is in Yates equiptment, so he still gets a little bit of a pass.

Sadler, in the rear again.

From Lee Spencer of Fox Sports:

Travis Kvapil — The former truck champ saw little seat time in 2009. He competed in just five races for Doug Yates at the start of the season and then found himself on an unsolicited 26-race sabbatical. Enter Front Row Motorsports. Although Kvapil failed to qualify the No. 37 FRM Dodge at Charlotte, he started and parked at Martinsville the following week. Kvapil, 33, is expected to turn the No. 37 car into a full-time ride as Stremme's teammate next season.

Quote:Best Buy moving to the #43? Team officials familiar with RPM's personnel moves tell The Associated Press that sponsor Best Buy will move from Sadler's car next season to Petty's famed No. 43 with AJ Allmendinger as the driver. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the changes have yet to be announced. Stanley Tools will become the sole primary sponsor for Sadler.
