but JB will have six or less races the way they word it

I remember hearing about the team, but I don't remember hearing Johnny would be the driver..... good thing that he has a ride, but idk about this one

HE WAS BEING INTERVIEWED ON SIRIUS Listed as a FORD DRIVER

How he still does not have a top full-time ride is beyond me.

According to THIS ARTICLE from NASCAR.com, it will indeed be a Ford for Team Gill Racing.

Looks like they have a young guy that will run at least 7 races (possibly more), but Johnny will finish out the rest of the 25 race schedule. Guess this means Kyle Busch has nothing for him, even later in the year.

ya I saw that later........ still stupid that he doesn't have a full schedule.... hopefully he'll find a ride for the other seven

Yep, Johnny is one of the good guys

Johnny Benson was quoted as saying that press release is incorrect, and that, as of now, he is only scheduled for Daytona with Team Gill.

hopefully Kyle will find a sponsor for race 2 and beyond...... atleast race two is still a little while away

Miccosukee sponsorship leaving the sport?: Sponsorship from Miccosukee Indian Gaming in all three of NASCAR's national series - Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Trucks - could be terminated as a result of an early February vote by the Indian tribe. The tribe, which runs Miccosukee Resort and Gaming located in Miami and along the southeastern edge of the Florida Everglades, elected a new chairman, Colley Billie, on Jan. 5 who campaigned on promoting a new and "proactive" economic development platform. Several sources confirmed the tribe plans a Feb. 4 vote to decide whether it will continue its sponsorship in NASCAR, which includes Cup [#09-Almirola] and Nationwide teams [#1-James Buescher] to be fielded in 2010 by team owner James Finch and a Truck team [#18] owned and driven by Kyle Busch. Kyle will probably be able to find a replacement. I think it's James Finch who will be in trouble if this is true.

Nice to see JB back in the truck series....Hopefully a good finish tonight will help to expand his 'schedule' with this team.
