RCR going truck racing? UPDATE 4: One truck; Dillion full season in #3: During SPEEDtv's Speed Report broadcast, Ray Dunlap reported that it appears that the #3 RCR Chevy truck, driven by Austin Dillon [grandson of Richard Childress], will be returning to the series in 2010. Dunlap reported word in the garage has it that Richard Childress Racing has ordered six brand new trucks.(9-13-2009)
UPDATE: Hearing from more than one source and also Ray Dunlap mentioned on the Speed Report Sunday evening, that Richard Childress Racing will run two trucks in 2010. No word on who the second driver will be.(11-1-2009)

UPDATE 3: Richard Childress Racing has signed Tim George Jr. as a developmental driver to compete full time in the 2010 ARCA RE/MAX Series. UPDATE 4: Richard Childress Racing plans to reenter the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series full time this season with driver Austin Dillon, Dillon’s father and RCR Vice President of Competition Mike Dillon said on Tuesday. “We are going to run full time with Austin in the truck, the black 3 truck, and we do have a sponsor, and we’re real excited about it,” Mike Dillon said.
