Wood Brothers and #21 Motorcraft Ford Fusion Head to Texas

Ouch!!! not off to a very good start ...... 43rd.... Champion's Provisional Sad

I didn't watch qualifying so I don't know what happened.

I also missed qualifying, but that's a bummer... first time they've had to use the provisional all year.

I don't understand at all. They struggled in qualifying I know but they did make it on speed! They beat four cars with a 187 flat. The other four cars were slower, check Jayski. It is only a few spots but starting from the very back they will need every spot they get.

Oh well, at least they did make it & their happy hour practice was a little better.

They must have traded setups with the Roush cars (at least the 99) since they qualified up front for once. Laughing

Bill said the car was WAY better today. Apparently, they were trying an experimental setup yesterday and it failed miserably.
