The Wood Brothers #21 Motorcraft Ford Fusion heads to Fort Worth, Texas this weekend to compete at the Texas Motor Speedway. Since its first race in 1997, the 1½ mile track with 24° banking in its turns has held 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup races.
The Wood Brothers have competed in each of the prior races earning four top ten finishes. Driver of the #21 Motorcraft Ford Fusion and past champion Bill Elliott has competed in 14 Texas Motor Speedway races earning 1 pole and 4 top fifteen finishes.
Teams take to the track on Friday for practice and qualifying. Two practices are scheduled for Saturday with the race set to begin Sunday at 3:15 pm EST. Live race coverage begins at 2:30 pm EST on ABC.

I don't understand at all. They struggled in qualifying I know but they did make it on speed! They beat four cars with a 187 flat. The other four cars were slower, check Jayski. It is only a few spots but starting from the very back they will need every spot they get.
Oh well, at least they did make it & their happy hour practice was a little better.
