Whatever happened to...

Jon Wood?

Just a year or two back, he was all set to 'take over' the "family ride"....since then, he's seemed to drop off the face of the earth!
Did the sponors just say "Absolutely NOT", or was it his decision? Is this guy racin' anywheres?

Jon had a lot of personal problems, I think. He just wasn't able to handle the spotlight that gets put on a high profile Sprint Cup series driver. He was a great kid, but I don't know what he's doing these days. I think he's done with racing (at least in the NASCAR ranks), though.

I agree with you, Andrew. I would be more surprised to see him back in one of the top 3 series than not, sadly, because Jon seems like a good guy.

He had a brother (or maybe a cousin) who raced in the trucks series, too, I believe...

Yep, Keven Wood. He never really got much of a chance... not sure what happened to him either.
