Wow that was some race. There were a few cars out there that had no idea how to use there break. <28, 75 and 23>
That 6th caution was a nasty wreck. I hope both drivers are OK.

Patrick Sheltra took a hard hit from the 23 ... and they never mentioned how he was after that. Really hope they're both OK!

ARCA RE/MAX Series Driver Injury Update (2-8-09) ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers Larry Hollenbeck and Patrick Sheltra, involved in a late race accident during Saturday's Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona Int'l Speedway, remain under physicians' care at a local hospital, where they will remain for further evaluation.
According to team reports, Sheltra, from Indiantown Florida, has a compression fracture of the back. He will undergo further evaluation and is expected to be released to the care of his personal physician with no surgical procedure anticipated.
Hollenbeck, from Kalamazoo Michigan, is in good spirits and expects to be released to the care of his personal physician as early as Monday.
ARCA Drivers Sheltra, Hollenbeck Hospitalized (2-7-09)--ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers Patrick Sheltra and Larry Hollenbeck have been admitted to a local hospital following a late race accident at Daytona International Speedway. Both drivers were conscious and alert when transported and will remain overnight for further evaluation. The families of both drivers reported they are in good spirits.
