BAM Racing Returning

BAM plans to tun Toyota's: BAM Racing owner Beth Ann Morgenthau came on Race Talk Radio Monday night, announcing their #49 car will run full-time in 2010 under the Toyota Camry banner. This team has been MIA for some time. They were semi-competitive when they were running with Schrader though, he had a couple of top-10s for them. They will have several drivers to choose from for next year - Sorenson, Stremme, Gilliland, Kvapil, Riggs, etc.

me too- I remember them saying they would be back at the end of - what year was it 2008? never really believed they would ever come back, but they are; now how is it they can get sponsorship, but not a driver IN the chase?

Money - their sponsor is probably paying around $4 or $5 million for the whole year (or less). That would get 6-8 races on a Chase caliber car.

Yeah, BAM Racing doesn't run all that well most of the time so why would somebody spend more money than what's necessary? Ryan's car is owned by a championship owner and championship driver, and is a top-10 car so it would be worth paying more money for.
