Elliott Sadler running truck races for CHEVY

Kevin Harvick and Elliott Sadler will share the #2 Chevy Silverado in the NCWTS in 2010. Sadler kicks off the season in the Daytona truck race. (Sirius Speedway)

Harvick/Sadler will split it for a total of 15 races, and another TBA driver will finish the season in the other 10 races.

Really surprised that Ford signed off on this... I still think Sadler could get the boot sometime soon.

Yeah, now that he is running races with a rival manufacturer I wouldn't be so surprised if he is told to leave RPM sometime. Remember, they didn't even want him in the car for last season!

2010 is the last year on Sadler's contract, right?

I believe so, and hopefully they will replace him with somebody who looks like he has potential, like Erik Darnell. I know Erik's plans for Nationwide this season look bleak, but in a few Nationwide races he showed he could run up front with Kyle Busch and Carl.

One thing is for sure though, the sooner Sadler is gone the better for that team. The only thing Elliott has impressed me with since he joined that team is his ability to keep sponsors while routinely running mid-pack.
