Yates wanted to be done with Labonte altogether

I read today that Yates Racing wanted to part ways with Labonte and put Darnell in the 96 for the last 12 races, but because of the contract they couldn't - HOF wanted him in the car - so they could only replace him for the 7 races without a sponsor on board.

I wonder if Labonte is hard to work with? They got tired of each other? Or they just wanted to give Darnell and extended chance?

I imagine that Bobby isn't an especially kind person to work with when the cars are this crappy.
