On this date 16 tear ago we lost a great driver of Davey Allison and that was a great lost to NASCAR and his family and fans!!!

I would rather not even think about this. Forget the huge talent the sport lost, he was just way to young to go.

He is the reason I follow Yates Racing, heck really even follow NASCAR at all. His rookie season driving, was my rookie season as a spectator. It seemed like a natural fit.

For as long as I watch NASCAR, I will always associate Allison with the Havoline 28.

Man what a loss...

I live right outside of his home town. Hueytown Alabama the home of the Alabama Gang. Here not one single day goes buy where he is not missed. RIP Davey you are never forgotten and well always be missed. And to me you were the greatest,you just didn't get enough time to show it.
