I must agree with Yatesracing on this one. Put Jimmie in a Yates car or a Richard Petty Motorsports car, and you wouldn't see anything spectacular from him. He might do a little better than the current Yates drivers are, but I don't think he's any better than Kasey Kahne, truthfully.
I think the top-5 drivers (as far as driver skill) in NASCAR right now are (in no particular order)
Carl Edwards
Kyle Busch
Tony Stewart
Jimmie Johnson
Kasey Kahne
I'm not sure what made me put Kahne on the list... I just think he's a really good driver who doesn't have the best equipment.
