| Allmendinger ran in the top 3 before the first caution and then fell back before coming back to toward the front in the last run of 5 laps.
His 7th place finish was best among the Fords.

| Fords were strong, just didn't finish that way.
Biffle got stuck behind Papis on the last restart when he missed a shift. Allmendinger drove through his pit box and had to restart at the rear, so that hurt him. Carl never really got up front.

How can you call them strong. Carl never got any where. whenI left he was in 7th.W/ Johnson right behind him. Knew than he was in trouble. Bif was 5th. AJ was 3rd. I felt secure . If they were strong they would have won. At least one of them.

Papis screwed everyone up. Allmendinger was in the top row too but shot down inside early enough that he didn't back up too far.

I can call them strong because the cars were good. Just because the car is strong doesn't mean you will necessarily win. - eehwkram wrote:

Yep, now 150 mile races. Officially the "Gatorade Duels at Daytona."
